    1. To help people find digital and public projects about Black history and culture by topic, type, location, contributors, and more.

    2. To make it easier to see and build connections or networks across similar projects.

    3. To enable deeper analyses of the Black Digital Humanities and Black Public Humanities as fields, including locating gaps and identifying potential interventions for growth.
